Growing a Startup

SPAN helped a small sports startup to secure additional funding and to scale their offering.

The Challenge

To help the founder of PlayerPro to secure additional funding, while incrementally scaling their MVP, leveraging their prior technical investment, and preparing for significant growth.

What We Did

We provided senior executive leadership and strategy definition, then helped PlayerPro to close their Series B. Additionally we developed the technical roadmap then defined, designed, built, and integrated a new microservices-based infrastructure to support scaling. This included a new API for the entire service and a validation-testing framework.

Results

The API has enabled multiple partnerships with major soccer leagues and clubs. PlayerPro can now effectively measure the scalability of their solution, and have an infrastructure roadmap to support future growth.
