To power Xero’s growth and innovation, the company’s complex distributed monolith architecture needed to evolve. Xero sought to modernize this architecture and unlock greater flexibility by moving to an “API First” approach, ensuring rapid feature delivery and easier adoption across teams.
We partnered with Xero to design and deliver a robust, reusable API adoption framework. Our work included creating detailed migration blueprints, automated testing strategies, and hands-on support to accelerate integration: removing bottlenecks and reducing technical dependencies. In addition, we completed the migration of the highest-impact application area—Chart of Accounts—before transitioning knowledge and ownership to the Xero engineering teams.
